The idea for this chair emerged from observing the substantial amount of waste left behind by tourists visiting Mallorca. The FLOT chair is a 100% recycled product and is part of a collection developed in collaboration with the LOOP Project, focused on the circular economy, and the Deixalles Foundation, a company specialized in collecting reusable materials.
The structure and seat of the FLOT chair are made from recycled wood, while the armrests and backrest are crafted from polyethylene foam floats from the beach. The chair is delivered in a flat-pack format that makes transportation easy, and it is assembled through interlocking and ropes, without the need for screws, following a simple process.
